GAME OBJECTIVES SUMMARY: Black Hole is a tough game to play so close your eyes and imagine hard! Hitting the 4 yellow spot-targets with 1 ball to activate the upper capture hole is crucial. A ball locked here will be released at the end of the ball so try not to waste it. The lower capture hole is always active (except during multiball) and will keep a ball until multiball is achieved, or more likely until end of game! With 2 balls locked, you're now set for multiball and rattling up a huge bonus if you've spelt out B-L-A-C-K H-O-L-E on the upper drop-targets to give 3x g-force scoring below. Shooting the third ball to enter the Gravity Tunnel to enjoy that 3x g-force on the lower playfield is good, especially if you hit the spinner hard with the 1000 lamp lit! Once the third ball drops down below, 2-ball multiball and the fun begins. Complete the 3 or 4-bank drop-targets to open the Re-Entry Gate for continued play after the balls drain below, make the multiplier roll-under 4 times, and ram the ball into the lower captive hole as often as you can. Keep it going down below until you have 5x a fat bonus. When they drain prepare to enjoy 3-ball play up top and yes, the possibility of shooting a ball or 2 down below to have 3 balls playing in opposite directions on 2 levels. Multball is not so hard to keep going on Black Hole as the Re-Entry Gate remains open, so any balls draining below come back into play up top. With a bit of luck, the balls will drain only when your arms ache. Repeat for the remaining regular balls in play and an infinite number of earned extra balls. You will return to reality when the lactic acid burning up your forearms reaches a level that forces am end to your game. You'll then slump sweating and exhausted into a chair, gibbering incomprehensibly to your disbelieving family about your unworldly experience, but don't worry, the game will kick your ass hard the next 100 games!
If you've been there, you know what we're saying. If not, don't worry, it will happen one day because no-one escapes the Black Hole! |
